Our group’s article “Photoinduced Deformation of Amorphous Polyimide Enabled by an Improved Azobenzene Isomerization Efficiency” published on “Polymer Chemistry” was reported by the WeChat Official Accounts “RSC英国皇家化学会”. This article proposed a new strategy to improve the isomerization efficiency of polyimide by introducing azobenzene into the side chain of polyimide, which not only simplifies the processing of deformable 3D structure actuators, but also broadens the potential application of azobenzene polymers in the field of intelligent 3D actuators.
