According to the notification from Chinese Materials Research Society, the paper entitled 'a study on the photodeformable non-crosslinked liquid crystal polymer material' written by Dr. Jiuan Lyu of our group was rated as an excellent doctoral dissertation in material science in the first C-MRS.

According to the website information of Chinese Materials Research Society, the Society Secretariat has sent to group members the Notice on Soliciting Excellent Doctoral Dissertations in Materials Science on April 5, 2017. As of May 31, 2017, the Society Secretariat received 46 papers from 23 members. The overall quality of the participating papers was extremely high. After the primary selection by experts, the preliminary review by the review panel experts, and the examination and discussion by review experts, the review panel experts chose 10 best papers through secret balloting as excellent doctoral dissertations in material science for the first C-MRS. The award ceremony will be grandly held at the opening ceremony of Chinese Materials Conference 2017 & Yinchuan International Materials Week on July 9, 2017.

As the first author of the Nature paper published by our group in September last year, Dr. Jiuan Lyu chose to stay in Fudan for post-doctoral research and was sent in February to Harvard for a half-a-year exchange visit.
