On September 19, 2013, Prof. Peter paid an exchange visit to our group; he discussed with us the progress of experiments, and spent with us the Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional Chinese festival.

Prof. Peter is a renowned scientist of the Institute of Liquid Crystals, Kent State University; his researches principally cover liquid crystal elastomers, negative index materials, mirrorless lasing in liquid crystals, failure and breakdown, etc. Prof. Peter has published dozens of scientific research papers on internationally renowned magazines such as Nature Material, Physical Review Letters, and Advanced Materials.
