Our group’s article "An Integrated Droplet Manipulation Platform with Photodeformable Microfluidic Channels" published on Small Methods was reported by the WeChat Official Accounts "Polymer Technology" with the title "Full light-controlled microfluidic chip has been developed by Professor Yanlei Yu's research group of Fudan University". This article mainly combines the previous work, introducing the main principles of light-driven liquid transportation, fusion, separation, and mixing of our light-controlled microfluidic chip and the wedge-shaped structure design at the channel connection, which looks forward to its important application value in biology, chemistry, and other fields in the future.
